RydesByMom LLC, owner of the Rydesbymom platform("RydesByMom," "we," "us," or "our") reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or Platform notification. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.
Parent Accounts: For individuals seeking transportation services for their children
RydeMom Accounts: For individuals offering transportation services
The Platform is currently available only in designated service areas within Texas, United States. Users must reside within our service areas to utilize the Platform's services.
RydesByMom is a connection platform that facilitates introductions between parents seeking school transportation for their children and verified RydeMoms offering such services.
RydeMoms are not employees, agents, or representatives of RydesByMom. They are independent individuals who use our Platform to connect with families seeking transportation services.
To use the Platform, you must:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:
Violate these Terms
Provide false or misleading information
Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
Pose a safety risk to other users
Are inactive for extended periods
To qualify as a RydeMom on the Platform, individuals must:
Be at least 21 years old
Possess a valid U.S. driver's license for at least 3 years
Own or have legal access to a registered, insured vehicle
Pass our verification process
Maintain required insurance coverage
All RydeMoms must complete our verification process, which includes:
Background Check: Comprehensive criminal background screening through our third-party provider (Checkr or equivalent)
Motor Vehicle Record Check: Review of driving history
Insurance Verification: Proof of valid auto insurance meeting state minimum requirements
Vehicle Inspection: Documentation of vehicle safety and condition
RydeMoms must:
Maintain valid driver's license and insurance
Update vehicle and insurance information as needed
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Consent to yearly re-verification
Notify us of any changes to verified data within 30 days of occurrence
RydeMoms are responsible for the cost of background checks and verification ($49.99 or current rate). This fee is non-refundable, regardless of verification outcome.
Parents using the Platform agree to:
Provide accurate information about their children and transportation needs
Ensure children are ready for pickup at scheduled times
Provide appropriate car seats/boosters as required by law
Communicate any special needs or requirements
Supervise initial meetings with RydeMoms
Make informed decisions about RydeMom selection
All transportation arrangements, including:
Scheduling
Routes
Pickup/dropoff locations
Payment terms
Special requirements
Are made directly between parents and RydeMoms. RydesByMom is not a party to these arrangements.
RydesByMom solely provides:
Technology to facilitate connections
Verification services
Communication tools
Information display
We do not control, guarantee, or assume responsibility for transportation services.

Subscription fees are processed through our third-party payment processor (Stripe). By providing payment information, you authorize recurring charges according to your selected plan.

Refunds may be issued at our sole discretion for technical issues or service failures
Users may not:
Provide false or misleading information
Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
Harass, threaten, or harm other users
Use the Platform for illegal purposes
Violate others' privacy or intellectual property rights
Attempt to circumvent Platform security measures
Use automated systems to access the Platform
Solicit users for other services or platforms
Share inappropriate content or communications
Your use of the Platform is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Background check results are used solely for verification purposes
Detailed reports are not shared with other users
Verification status (passed/failed) may be displayed
We comply with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requirements
Communications between users through the Platform may be monitored for:
Safety and security purposes
Quality assurance
Compliance with Terms
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
RydesByMom makes NO guarantees regarding:
Availability or reliability of RydeMoms
Quality of transportation services
Accuracy of user-provided information
Safety of transportation arrangements
Behavior or actions of users
BY USING THE PLATFORM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH:
Interactions with other users
Transportation arrangements made through the Platform
Reliance on information provided by other users
Decisions to allow your children to ride with RydeMoms
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RYDESBYMOM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill
Physical injury, emotional distress, or property damage
Acts or omissions of users, including RydeMoms
Transportation services provided by RydeMoms
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO RYDESBYMOM IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
The Platform may contain links to or integrate with third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RydesByMom, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:
Your use of the Platform
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any rights of another party
Transportation arrangements you make through the Platform
Any content you submit to the Platform
RydeMoms must maintain:
Minimum state-required auto liability insurance
Coverage must be active throughout Platform participation
Insurance information must be kept current
Parents acknowledge that:
They should verify driver insurance coverage
RydesByMom is not an insurer
Transportation is not covered by RydesByMom insurance
They may wish to consult their own insurance regarding coverage
All Platform content, including but not limited to:
Text, graphics, logos, icons
Software and code
Compilation of user data
Trademarks and service marks
Is owned by or licensed to RydesByMom LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.
By submitting content to the Platform, you grant RydesByMom a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, reproduce, and display such content for Platform operation and marketing purposes.
Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except where prohibited by law.
You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in class actions.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Collin County, Texas.

We may delete your account and data
Provisions that should survive will remain in effect
By using the Platform, you consent to receive electronic communications from us, including:
Service announcements
Administrative messages
Marketing communications (with opt-out option)
Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS communications.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and RydesByMom regarding the Platform.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
We shall not be liable for failures to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control.
Users acknowledge compliance with all Texas state laws regarding:
Child passenger safety requirements
Car seat and booster seat laws
Insurance requirements
Transportation regulations
Nothing in these Terms shall limit rights under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act where applicable.

By participating as a RydeMom, you additionally acknowledge that you are an independent individual using the Platform to connect with families, and you are solely responsible for all aspects of the transportation services you provide.
By using the Platform to find transportation for your children, you acknowledge that you are making independent decisions about your children's care and transportation, and you assume all risks associated with these decisions.
